Procurement of 100% certified renewable energy from sources such as solar and wind;
Free cooling and optimised climate control to reduce energy consumption;
Transparent reporting on energy consumption and CO₂ emissions;
Reuse of residual heat, for example through district heating;
Monitoring and optimisation of energy and airflow using smart technology;
Electric vehicle charging infrastructure on site.
Certifications and transparency
To guarantee the quality and progress of their sustainability policies, these data centres hold relevant certifications. They participate in initiatives such as the Climate Neutral Data Centre Pact and the Better Climate Challenge. They also hold NEN 7510 for healthcare services, ISO 14001 for environmental management, and ISO 9001 for quality management.
These certifications not only ensure the right processes are in place, but also that continuous improvement is embedded. For Duocast, this is essential — because for us, reliability goes beyond uptime alone: it is also about future-proofing.
