Cross-connects

An often overlooked benefit of colocation is that the presence of many different parties creates a rich supplier ecosystem. A cross-connect is particularly relevant when you source connectivity or services from a party other than Duocast: we handle the physical connection, you choose your own supplier. Or perhaps you provide services yourself and need to serve your own clients. In both cases, we provide the cross-connect(s) required.

Carrier neutrality

Although we offer internet services ourselves, you may wish to source them from another supplier. We have no issue with that, and because we operate exclusively from carrier-neutral data centres, you have a wide choice. We handle the cross-connect request so that your equipment connects directly with your service provider.

Virtual cross-connect to Amsterdam

Sometimes the provider you are looking for is not in Groningen but at one of the Amsterdam internet exchange points. We connect you there too. Via Duocast Connect+, we transparently link your colocation in Groningen to any provider in Amsterdam, as if your equipment were physically located there. This way you benefit from the full Amsterdam offering without relocating.
