Your challenge
Our DNA is technology, technology and more technology. We’re constantly developing, and you’re an enthusiastic part of that, just as much as you enjoy delivering and maintaining functionality on a technical level. As an experienced engineer who works professionally and with a clear focus on results, you understand the impact of changes and spot bottlenecks before they arise. You have hands-on knowledge of current tooling and put it to full use for network configurations involving load balancers, encryption and layered networks. You understand, better than most, that documenting procedures is essential, and you find that easy to do.
Together with colleagues who, pretty much without exception, also live and breathe technology, you make an active contribution to supporting users and optimising work processes. You find variety and challenge in second-line requests and resolving incidents, but you get the real satisfaction from the quality of the solutions you come up with. You can easily see things from the other person’s point of view, and you know how to pitch technical explanations, patiently where needed, to match the level of whoever you’re talking to. You’re skilled, self-reliant and passionate about automation, always looking to make things easier for yourself and others.
You quickly make yourself at home in new working processes and company culture. You’re eager to learn and curious, you could say you have an insatiable appetite for knowledge. Over the course of your career, you’ve built up experience in project management. You also enjoy sharing your knowledge and insights, and you have an affinity for a guiding, motivating role within a team.
You’ll work in our ‘penthouse’ on the top floor of the Oude Melkfabriek, in a space with an open character, and occasionally (at a client’s request) from an external location. For the moments you can do without the advice and humour of your technical sparring partners, working from home is also an option.
